They are getting married today, a small ceremony performed by a priest with a heavy accent. Whining organs and gleaming chalices; professional photographers and dripping christs; sit, stand, kneel--all part of the ritual. "This is the happiest day of your young lives," says the priest as they climb onto the altar. They exchange vows, lying there. The congregation, frenzied, throws rice onto the couple. "I now pronounce you man and wife"; then the nails, the drawing of the sacred blade, and the sacrifice. Afterwards, the professional photographers take snapshots of the altar boys mopping up the blood.
